Commonwealth Electoral Amendment (Voter Protections in Political Advertising) Bill 2026

Amends the Electoral Act 1918 to prohibit misleading or deceptive electoral or referendum matter; and Referendum (Machinery Provisions) Act 1984 to impose additional transparency and standards requirements in relation to political advertising.
