Aged Care Legislation Amendment (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Commissioner and Other Measures) Bill 2026

Amends the: Aged Care Act 2024 to establish the statutory office of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Commissioner within the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission; and Aged Care Act 2024 and Aged Care Rules 2025 to make miscellaneous, technical and consequential amendments to the aged care framework. Also repeals the Aged Care (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) (Aged Care System Modification) Rules 2025 .
